My name is Jeroen Hertzberger. 3 time Olympian with 267 caps and 127 goals for Holland. I have captained Rotterdam for over 10 years and am currently the Dutch Hoofdklasse's & Euro Hockey League's all time topscorer.
I consider myself as a specialist. I love everything about the dragflick and the shoot out. It is a pure form of 1 versus 1 against the goalkeeper. Technique and mentality come together to either give you glory or disappointment. It doesn't get more pure than that!

Dragflicks
This might just be the coolest skill to learn! It is so satisfying to watch the ball roll off your stick and fly into the top corner. The ultimate combination of skill, speed and motion!
Shoot Outs
The shoot out has become a golden skill. Almost every tournament is decided by shoot outs. Mastering the 8 second 1v1 demands focus, skill and technique. Above all, dealing with the pressure is crucial in the proces!
Scoops
Over the last decade, the overhead had become a crucial passing technique. Outletting and build up is no longer possible without overheads. The cool thing about overheads is that you can improve very quickly.
